Your new role
As theAssociateDirectorFinance & Operations (F&O) you will be the strategic finance partner to theNorwegianleadership team steering and executing the strategic direction for Novo collaboration with your team you will lead pivotal change projects within the organisation taking charge of Business Finance Supply Chain Management ProcurementCommercial Excellence and Business Operationsincl. onsiteITas a key business partner.
In this role you will report directly to the General Manager and be a member of the Novo NordiskNorwayLeadership Team. This position is office-based andlocatedinOsloNorway.
Your responsibilities will includeto:
- Be a trusted business partner and advisor to the General Manager and theNorwegianLeadership Team ensuring proactive monitoring of financial performance through data-driven analysis and insights.
- Oversee the achievement of financial targets by streamlining internal financial processes through digital innovation shared services and outsourcing while ensuring strict compliance with local regulationsin close collaboration withaccounting.
- Lead theFinance and Operations teamsconsisting of9 peoplethatincludesBusiness FinanceProcurement())Commercial Excellence(covering e.g. sales forceexcellence CRM system)local onsite IT supportandfacilities. At the sametimeyou are accountable for the localSupply Chain Managementto ensuretimelydelivery of products to customersas well as accounting within both areas you closely collaboratewithcenterof excellences across the Nordics.
- Translate strategicobjectivesinto actionable initiatives that empower teams to achieve positive financial environmental and social impacts enhancing overall business performance.
Your skills & qualifications
As an F&O leader you are adept atmanoeuvringthrough complex matrix environments excellinginworkingin cross-functional teams and driving impactful outcomes. With a strong enterprise business mindset and a proactive can-do attitude you effectively translate strategicinitiatives into actionable steps that yield positive results. You are a true team player who values collaboration and actively fosters a positive atmosphere within your team contributing to a culture of engagement and success.
Your qualifications:
- AMastersdegree or equivalent in Business or Finance complemented by a strong financial background andexpertise as well as a strong analytical mindset.
- 5 years of relevant finance experiencedemonstratinga proven finance partnering mindset ideally within an affiliate environment.
- Experience leading and developing teams as people manager is required. Strong leadership skills in line with our core values: Respect Openness and Accountability
- Extensiveexpertiseinfinancial management including budget oversight a deep understanding of P&L and the ability to develop and analyse comprehensive business cases.
- A thorough understanding of theNorwegianpharmaceutical market is a significant advantage.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills enabling you to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization;fluency ina Scandinavian languageis a advantage.

- Salary: For this role the Annual Base Salary ranges from.00 to.00 NOK corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidates skills competencies knowledge and relevant experience. - Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include shortterm and/or longterm incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level location functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
