MaintenanceMechanical Engineer

As a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer Tool Shop you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability maintenance and continuous improvement of tools molds and tool shop equipment to support uninterrupted production operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for tooling and tool shop equipment.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for molds tools and mechanical equipment.
• Analyze equipment failures identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain standard maintenance procedures and documentation.
• Coordinate repairs overhauls and modifications of production tools and molds.
• Monitor tooling performance and recommend improvements to increase reliability and efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives focusing on safety quality productivity and cost optimization.
• Ensure proper maintenance records are maintained and updated.
• Monitor spare parts availability and support inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with 5S GMP quality and safety standards within the Tool Shop.
• Collaborate closely with Production Engineering Quality and Maintenance teams to achieve operational objectives.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment; experience in tooling molds or plastics processing is considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance principles.
• Experience with troubleshooting mechanical equipment and production tooling.
• Good understanding of machining processes molds dies and precision mechanical components.
• Experience with maintenance planning systems (SAP is an advantage).
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented proactive and committed to continuous improvement.
• Good command of English both written and spoken.
