VP, Private Equity Investment

Responsibilities:

• Lead the analysis of investment opportunities including financial modelling valuation and return analysis
• Lead the formulation and implementation of the value addition strategy for portfolio companies
• Serve as primary custodian of all projects and portfolio companies under his/her control managing all resources engaged on such projects
• Directly oversee the performance and development of analysts and associates working on projects
• Work will likely require a reasonable amount of travel across West Africa

1. Minimum Second-Class Upper Degree from a top tier university
2. 5 - 8 years experience in a management consulting investment banking or general management/strategy role requiring strong financial modelling analytical reasoning and presentation skills required
3. Interest in making a transition towards entrepreneurship private equity or principal investing in emerging markets or sub-Saharan Africa
4. Experience in emerging markets particularly Nigeria or Ghana is an advantage
