ROLE SUMMARY

The UI/UX Designer is responsible for creating intuitive user-centered and visually engaging digital experiences across Paymi Solutions Limiteds fintech products and platforms. The role focuses on researching user needs designing seamless customer journeys developing wireframes and prototypes and collaborating closely with Product Engineering Compliance and Business teams to deliver user experiences that drive customer satisfaction adoption and business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct user research usability testing customer interviews and competitive analysis to understand user needs and pain points.
• Design end-to-end user experiences for web mobile payment and financial service platforms.
• Create user flows customer journey maps wireframes mockups and interactive prototypes.
• Develop high-fidelity UI designs that align with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with Product Managers Engineers and Business Stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain design systems style guides and reusable design components.
• Optimize user journeys to improve customer engagement product adoption and conversion rates.
• Conduct usability testing and leverage data-driven insights to continuously improve user experiences.
• Ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints including mobile applications web platforms dashboards and payment interfaces.
• Translate business requirements regulatory requirements and user needs into practical design solutions.
• Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
• Advocate for customer-centric design thinking across product development initiatives.
• Maintain design documentation user research findings and prototype libraries.

Qualifications :

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (required).

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Total Relevant Experience: 3-5 years

Fintech / Financial Services Experience: 2 years supporting infrastructure for fintech banking or transaction-processing systems preferred

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Proficiency in Figma Adobe XD Sketch or similar design tools.
• Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Experience designing responsive web and mobile applications.
• Ability to create wireframes prototypes user flows and customer journey maps.
• Understanding of product development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to interpret data and customer feedback to drive design decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

REGULATORY CONSIDERATIONS (NIGERIA)

• Ensures product and interface designs comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and applicable customer privacy requirements.
• Supports compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and relevant data security requirements.
•  Ensures adherence to AML/CFT KYC consumer protection and fraud prevention requirements
