About You

We are seeking a hands-on and customer-focused Technical Support Engineer. You will be the key technical face of us in Nigeria responsible for the installation commissioning maintenance and support of our advanced energy storage systems. Your role is critical to ensuring customer satisfaction product reliability and the successful deployment of our projects on the ground.


Job description

  • On-site Deployment & Commissioning: Lead the on-site installation debugging and functional testing of energy storage systems (including lithium batteries inverters BMS/EMS etc.) for clients across Nigeria. Ensure all work complies with company standards local electrical codes and safety regulations for seamless project handover.

  • Technical Troubleshooting & Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving customer technical issues. Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults either remotely via phone/online tools or through on-site visits.

  • Customer Training & Enablement: Conduct comprehensive operation and maintenance training for customers and their operators adapting your approach to the local context. Assist in developing and localizing simple clear training materials and manuals to enhance customers long-term system management capabilities.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration & Feedback: Act as the vital link between the field and our headquarters. Provide clear timely feedback to the R&D and Sales teams regarding product performance recurring issues and local market needs to drive product and service improvement.

  • Coordinate with logistics and local partners for spare parts and service activities.



Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Power Electronics Renewable Energy or a related field.

  • 2 -5 years of hands-on experience in field service technical support or maintenance roles preferably with power systems UPS solar inverters or battery energy storage systems.

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory for professional communication.

  • Prior experience working with international companies or on technical projects within Nigeria/West Africa is highly preferred.

  • Ability to develop and adapt clear user-friendly training materials manuals and guides for customers with varying levels of technical knowledge.

  • Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
