Job Summary
Job Title: SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER (BRITISH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL)
Location: Ikeja Lagos
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized learning support to pupils across various classes according to identified educational needs.
- Develop and implement appropriate Individual Education Plans (IEPs) where required.
- Support learners with Autism ADHD and other learning-support needs using appropriate strategies.
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and the Learning Support Unit to provide coordinated support.
- Monitor learner progress and maintain appropriate records of interventions and outcomes.
- Promote an inclusive respectful and supportive learning environment for all pupils.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Education / Qualification:BEd in Special Education or SEN-related qualification
Minimum Experience: 2 years
Special Skills / Training:IEP development experience with Autism/ADHD/Learning Support Unit collaboration
