SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Our client is a leading Mechanical and Electrical Contractor within the Construction Industry and they are looking for a

Service Technician in Ikoyi Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

• Install service maintain test and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
  

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and system faults.
  

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as required.
  

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and service requests.
  

• Read and interpret technical drawings schematics and equipment manuals.
  

• Assist with equipment installation commissioning and testing.
  

• Replace faulty components and carry out necessary repairs.
  

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and parts used.
  

• Prepare service reports and escalate technical issues to the Service Manager.
  

• Liaise with clients and provide technical support where required.
  

• Ensure all work complies with company quality safety and HSE standards.
  

Requirements

• OND HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Mechatronic or a related field.
  

• 25 years of relevant experience in equipment servicing maintenance or installation.
  

• Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and troubleshooting.
  

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
  

• Knowledge of electrical testing and maintenance procedures.
  

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  

• Willingness to travel to client sites when required.
