Senior Civil Engineer (Piling)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer (Piling & Foundations) to lead and oversee piling operations across major infrastructure and construction projects. The role involves planning execution supervision and quality control of all piling and foundation activities ensuring compliance with design specifications safety standards and project timelines.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in piling systems and deep foundation engineering combined with proven leadership experience in managing site operations and multidisciplinary project teams.

• Plan coordinate and supervise all piling and foundation works on site.
• Review engineering drawings specifications and method statements related to piling activities.
• Ensure all works are executed in line with approved designs codes and project requirements.
• Monitor project progress productivity schedules and budgets for piling operations.
• Coordinate effectively with consultants contractors and project stakeholders.
• Manage site resources including labour equipment and materials allocation.
• Conduct regular site inspections quality assurance and compliance checks.
• Prepare technical reports progress updates and project documentation.
• Identify troubleshoot and resolve technical and site execution issues.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE standards regulations and company policies.
• Review subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
• Provide technical guidance leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and site teams.

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil engineering with strong specialization in piling and foundation works.
• Strong knowledge of bored piles driven piles sheet piles diaphragm walls and other deep foundation systems.
• Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure projects (roads bridges marine or industrial works).
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent project management coordination and leadership skills.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies quality control and HSE requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software tools.
• COREN registration and membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) is an added advantage.
