Sanctions Compliance Analyst
Job Summary
Duties & Respoonsibilities
- Implement and manage a robust sanctions screening programme across the Unified Payments customer base and transactions
- Maintain an internal database of black-listed customers and ensure customers on the list are not onboarded by Unified Payments
- Conduct review and investigation of screening results/alerts take freezing action develop report resulting from sanctions screening analysis for filling with the NFIU/NSC
- Liaise with the NFIU/NSC on sanctions compliance matters
- Monitor the effectiveness of the sanctions programme and recommend improvements
- Provide input to AML/CFT/CPF reports to senior management and the Board
- Provide input on AML/CFT/CPF internal training
- Any other task that may be assigned by the supervisor or CCO from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Public Policy Law Risk Management or a related field.
- Professional certification in compliance such as DCP CAMS ICA CFE
- 4 - 6 years of relevant compliance and Audit experience preferably in reputable financial institutions or in the payments industry
- A critical thinker with strong and proven analytical capabilities.
