Job Summary

Our client is the foremost luxury goods company in Nigeria with a diversified portfolio that consists of over 13 of the worlds most prestigious luxury brands. Due to expansion they are looking to fill the role of Public Relations Officer


LOCATION: Lagos


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


Develop and execute PR and corporate communications plans.

Build and maintain relationships with media houses journalists and influencers.
Prepare press releases media statements and corporate announcements.
Coordinate media coverage for events launches and brand activities.
Manage corporate messaging and external communications.
Support crisis and reputation-management initiatives.
Develop internal newsletters and employee communications.
Coordinate interviews press briefings and media events.
Monitor media coverage and provide reputation reports.
Identify PR opportunities to strengthen brand visibility.
Ensure communications align with luxury brand standards.

Requirements
Bachelors degree in Public Relations Communications Journalism Marketing or
related field.
46 years PR/corporate communications experience.
Experience in luxury retail fashion lifestyle hospitality or premium brands is
preferred.
Strong media relationships.
Excellent writing communication and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of brand reputation management.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.



Required Skills:

Minimum of 15 years progressive HR experience preferably gained across reputable organisations with structured HR functions. At least 10 years experience as a member of a Management/Leadership Team contributing to strategic and business decisions. Must have hands-on experience working abroad and demonstrable exposure to international HR practices standards and multicultural work environments. Proven experience in a senior HR leadership or managerial position with responsibility for people policies performance and organisational development.


Required Education:

Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Management Industrial Relations Law or a related discipline.A recognised professional HR certification is mandatory such as CIPM CIPD SHRM HRCI or other internationally recognised HR professional qualification.A Masters degree in HR Business Administration Management or a related field will be an advantage
