Project Engineer (MEP)

Our client is an engineering and technical services company specializing in project execution and Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems for construction projects. They are committed to delivering quality engineering solutions ensuring effective project coordination and maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence.

They are currently looking to hire an experienced Project Engineer (MEP) to coordinate site activities support project execution and ensure that engineering works are completed according to approved specifications quality standards and project schedules.

• Coordinate the planning execution and delivery of MEP works on construction projects.
  

• Liaise with project management site teams subcontractors and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
  

• Monitor daily site activities project schedules and work progress escalating delays and challenges to the Project Manager.
  

• Track materials manpower and other site resources to support cost control and efficient project delivery.
  

• Conduct routine site inspections to ensure installations comply with approved drawings specifications and quality standards.
  

• Ensure adherence to Health Safety Quality and Environmental (HSQE) requirements.
  

• Identify potential project risks and support the implementation of mitigation measures.
  

• Support the management of variations change orders and site instructions.
  

• Coordinate testing commissioning and snagging activities.
  

• Prepare progress reports site records and other project documentation.
  

• Support project close-out as-built documentation and handover processes.
  

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution or an equivalent qualification.
  

• Minimum of five years experience in MEP project execution and site coordination.
  

• Hands-on experience with HVAC electrical plumbing and fire protection systems in construction projects.
  

• Good understanding of construction practices quality control procedures and site coordination.
  

• Strong communication organizational and coordination skills.
  

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  

• Ability to interpret project requirements follow schedules solve problems and coordinate effectively with site teams and subcontractors.
  

• Strong commitment to safety quality and teamwork.
