Job Summary

Our client is a professional digital property platform providing seamless real estate solutions and mortgage penetration through technology in Nigeria.

Role Overview:
The Project Director will provide strategic leadership and overall direction for the planning execution and delivery of large-scale construction and real estate development projects. The role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery
  • Provide end-to-end leadership for multiple projects from concept through completion.
  • Define project scope objectives timelines and resource requirements.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule within budget and in line with quality standards.
Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Align project delivery with organisational strategy and growth objectives.
  • Lead feasibility assessments project structuring and investment planning.
  • Drive value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives across projects.
Financial & Commercial Management
  • Oversee project budgets cost control and financial performance.
  • Monitor project profitability cash flow and financial risks.
  • Review and approve major expenditures contracts and procurement decisions.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
  • Manage relationships with clients investors consultants contractors and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to executive management and the Board.
  • Lead negotiations on major contracts partnerships and project agreements.
Risk Compliance & Governance
  • Identify and manage project risks ensuring mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements safety standards and company policies.
  • Promote strong governance and internal controls across all projects.



Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Architecture Construction Management or a related field.
  • A Masters degree (MBA or related) is an advantage.
  • Professional certifications (e.g. COREN RICS or equivalent) is an advantage while PMP is mandatory.
  • 10 15 years experience in project management within construction engineering or real estate.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale complex projects successfully
