Job Summary

Purpose of the Role

The Programme Manager serves as the strategic execution lead for the Precious Jewels Development Initiative (PJDI) the WIN Leadership Management Programme (Winners in Africa) the Groups CSR and ESG portfolio and the CEOs external leadership assignments. The role ensures that programmes are delivered efficiently governance is strengthened stakeholders are engaged and strategic initiatives achieve measurable impact.

Reporting Line

Reports to: Group Chairman & CEO

Maintains direct liaison with the PJDI Board business units development partners and professional associations.

Key Responsibilities

PJDI & WIN Leadership Management Programme

Lead annual programme planning setting timelines milestones and resourcing for PJDI and WIN.

Manage recruitment and selection of programme participants against agreed criteria.

Coordinate curriculum design and facilitator engagement to ensure quality delivery.

Oversee participant welfare throughout the programme lifecycle.

Track key performance indicators and report on programme progress.

Prepare board reports summarising performance risks and recommendations.

Coordinate alumni engagement to sustain the programmes network and legacy.

Develop strategic partnerships that expand programme reach and resourcing.

Support fundraising efforts including proposal development and donor engagement.

Manage programme budgets ensuring efficient and accountable use of funds.

CSR & ESG

Develop and drive the Groups CSR strategy in line with corporate objectives.

Coordinate the planning and execution of community projects.

Measure and report on the social and environmental impact of CSR initiatives.

Prepare ESG reports for internal governance and external disclosure.

Manage relationships with NGOs and civil society partners.

Identify and pursue grant opportunities to support CSR and ESG objectives.

Office of the CEO

Manage the CEOs strategic calendar prioritising engagements aligned with corporate goals.

Prepare briefing notes and talking points ahead of key meetings and engagements.

Track decisions arising from CEO meetings and follow up on action items.

Coordinate special projects assigned directly by the CEO.

Represent the CEO at meetings and events where delegated.

CPAN

Provide governance support to strengthen CPANs institutional structures.

Drive membership growth initiatives.

Support implementation of the National Cleaning Institute (NCI).

Coordinate and establish NBTE accreditation processes.

Manage government and regulatory engagement on CPANs behalf.

Coordinate CPANs organisation of the Nigeria Clean Expo.

Oversee CPANs communications and public messaging.

AFMPN

Support Board of Trustees (BOT) governance processes.

Coordinate trustee meetings including agenda-setting and minute-taking.

Drive strategic projects on behalf of AFMPN.

Cultivate industry partnerships to advance AFMPNs objectives.



Requirements
Qualifications

Bachelors degree required; a Masters degree is preferred.

58 years of experience in programme or project management.

Demonstrated experience working with NGOs CSR functions or professional bodies.

Excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills.

PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.

Required Skills:

5. Qualifications Experience & Person Profile Essential Requirements Minimum HND or in Environmental Health Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Science or a related discipline Recognised HSE qualification NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) is strongly preferred; ISPON membership or IOSH Managing Safely certification is acceptable at minimum Minimum 5 years of relevant HSE experience with at least 3 years in a facilities management hospitality or large commercial building environment Demonstrable experience directly supervising cleaning grounds or soft services teams this is not a purely administrative or desk-based HSE role; operational supervisory experience is non-negotiable Working knowledge of COSHH regulations chemical safety data sheets and safe chemical handling procedures relevant to cleaning and grounds operations Experience managing and coordinating pest control programmes in a large commercial or institutional facility Competent in the preparation review and enforcement of risk assessments method statements and Permits to Work Proficient in Microsoft Office able to produce professional inspection reports schedules and management summaries independently The Person We Need You walk the facility with sharp eyes you notice the spill before a visitor slips on it the weed before it becomes an eyesore and the pest sign before it becomes an infestation You lead by being present your team knows your standards because they see you inspect correct and recognise good work every day not once a week You are firm on safety and standards without being inflexible you know how to get compliance through training respect and clear expectations not fear You can write a professional incident report and present cleaning audit scores to a client in the same morning and do both well
