Role Summary
The Production Assistant will support daily yoghurt production operations by assisting with production processes packaging quality checks and maintaining hygiene standards within the production environment. The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting while supporting smooth operational flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily yoghurt production and processing activities.
- Support product packaging labeling and sealing processes.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure assigned tasks are completed efficiently.
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness hygiene and safety within the production environment.
- Assist in handling raw materials and production supplies.
- Support stock arrangement and proper storage of finished products.
- Report production issues damages or inconsistencies to the supervisor promptly.
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth production operations.
- Support customer service activities where required including responding to basic inquiries.
- Adhere strictly to company health safety and food handling procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of quality control processes.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and willing to work in a production setting.
- Candidates residing around Ojodu and nearby locations are preferred.
Required Skills:
Minimum of OND Certificate 02 years experience in operations production or agro-food businesses Strong organizational coordination and multitasking skills Proactive teachable and execution-driven mindset High professionalism reliability and integrity Willingness to work in a processing and production environment Preference for candidates residing near Ikorodu
