Procurement Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality price availability and service.
• Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate favourable commercial terms.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely processing and delivery of approved purchases.
• Maintain accurate procurement records supplier information and documentation.
• Monitor purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Support supplier onboarding evaluation and performance monitoring.
• Work closely with Inventory Retail/F&B Finance and other departments to understand and fulfil procurement requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend suitable alternatives where necessary.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies approval processes and agreed specifications.
• Resolve supplier-related issues and escalate significant concerns to the Procurement Manager.

Qualifications :

Education:

• Bachelors degree or HND in Procurement Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional procurement/supply chain certification is an added advantage.

Experience:

• 24 years relevant experience in procurement preferably within retail hospitality FMCG entertainment or a similar fast-paced environment.
