Job Summary
Job Title: Preschool Assistant Teacher (British International School)
Location: Ikeja Lagos
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the lead teacher in creating a safe nurturing and engaging early-years learning environment.
- Assist with classroom routines learning activities and age-appropriate experiences for the assigned preschool groups.
- Support childrens participation communication early literacy and development through suitable classroom activities.
- Observe and support individual childrens needs and communicate relevant observations to the lead teacher.
- Apply knowledge of the EYFS framework in daily classroom practice.
- Support an organized classroom environment and positive relationships with children colleagues and parents.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Education / Qualification: NCE/OND in Early Childhood Education or related field
Minimum Experience: 1 year
Year Group(s) / Classes: Topaz 2 ½ years to 3 ½ years; Opal 3 ½ years to 4 ½ years
