Operations Specialist

Location: Ikoyi Lagos

We are seeking a dynamic analytical and assertive Operations Officer / Operations Specialist to join our real estate firm in Ikoyi. This hybrid role combines asset management retail setup and facilities oversight.

You will be responsible for maximizing the financial and operational performance of a designated real estate portfolio enforcing high standards of property maintenance and managing technical teams. The ideal candidate blends strong financial reporting skills with technical literacy (including the ability to read architectural drawings) and a proactive customer-first approach.

• Directly supervise coordinate and evaluate Facility Managers and on-site technical support teams.
  

• Oversee the end-to-end efficiency safety and daily running of completed assets and properties.
  

• Monitor property performance versus budgets tracking key operational KPIs to identify income-boosting opportunities and expense-reduction strategies.
  

• Establish and streamline operational structures workflows and client delivery frameworks.
  

• Lead operational setups layout coordination and logistics for new retail stores and commercial spaces.
  

• Manage vendor relationships audit and approve maintenance invoices and ensure proactive preventative maintenance schedules are rigorously followed.
  

• Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual budget variance reports for senior management.
  

• Oversee resident/client relations lease administration rent collection and occupancy tracking.
  

• Conduct market research to inform rent optimization leasing strategies and competitive positioning in the Ikoyi sub-market.
  

• Experience & Industry: 3 to 5 years of core operations experience within Real Estate Development Real Estate Management or Construction.
  

• Technical Literacy: Exceptional mastery of Microsoft Excel for data analysis budgeting and asset tracking; ability to read interpret and cross-check technical and architectural drawings to verify building specs and maintenance compliance.
