Job Summary

The ideal candidate will support the Core IP Network team in the operation monitoring and maintenance of the Companys network infrastructure. This role provides hands-on exposure to network operations troubleshooting documentation and project implementation while offering the opportunity to develop technical and professional skills under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
Support the Core Network team in daily operational activities.
Assist with network monitoring incident tracking and basic troubleshooting.
Help maintain network documentation reports and inventory records.
Assist in preparing technical reports and performance summaries.
Support system health checks and routine maintenance activities.
Participate in project implementation and testing under supervision.
Escalate issues appropriately and follow up on assigned tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned by the team.

Educational & Professional Qualifications:
Currently serving as an NYSC Corps Member seeking a PPA.
Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science Information Technology Telecommunications or a related field.

Essential Skills & Knowledge:
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP routing switching and IP
addressing).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word and PowerPoint).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Willingness to learn and develop a career in telecommunications and network engineering.
Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Desirable Skills & Knowledge:
Basic knowledge of Core Networks or Mobile Core Network architecture.
Familiarity with Linux operating systems or networking tools.
Relevant networking certifications or training (e.g. CCNA) will be an added advantage.
Basic understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and network operations.
