About the Role

Harvesters International Christian Centre Lekki Campus is looking for a NextGen Coordinator to lead our Childrens Ministry in Lekki Campus shaping a space where every child including those with special needs feels safe seen and spiritually nurtured. This role carries both the pastoral heart and the operational rigour needed to build programs develop volunteers and grow a ministry that helps children encounter God and grow in faith.

What Youll Do

  • Build an inclusive ministry environment with intentional support for children with autism ADHD learning difficulties developmental disabilities and sensory processing needs
  • Set and maintain safeguarding standards and child protection protocols across all Next Gen activities
  • Design age-graded curricula and programming for Sunday services midweek activities camps and family events
  • Recruit train and lead a team of teachers and volunteers with clear structure and ongoing coaching
  • Manage the ministrys budget records and reporting
  • Partner with parents guardians and other ministry heads to keep everyone aligned and informed

Requirements

What Were Looking For

  • A bachelors degree in Education Child Development Psychology Special Education Theology or a related field (masters is a plus)
  • At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a school childrens ministry or child-focused organization ideally as a Head of School Academic Coordinator or Childrens Ministry Leader
  • Hands-on experience working with children across age groups including those with special needs
  • A track record of designing faith-based or developmental programs and leading teams of educators or volunteers
  • Church ministry experience especially in childrens ministry is a strong plus





Required Skills:

Academic Qualification A first degree in Accounting Finance Economics or a related discipline. Membership of a recognized accounting professional body (e.g. ICAN ACA ACCA CPA) or a relevant masters degree. Work Experience At least 10 years of practical experience in accounting finance and auditing within a major financial institution or a reputable large-scale organization with at least 5 years in an executive or departmental leadership capacity. Experience within a faith-based nonprofit or multi-site organization is an advantage. Personal Skills Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business decisions. Strong organizational numeracy and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying risks and opportunities. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present financial matters clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software such as Sage 50 Peachtree or equivalent platforms. Strong management interpersonal and leadership skills with the credibility to influence across the organization.
