.NET Engineer

This role is for a highly skilled and Engineer who can design develop and maintain secure scalable and high-performing enterprise applications that power mission-critical business operations.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build reliable solutions enhance existing applications and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development practices.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Design develop test deploy and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C# .NET Core/.NET and related Microsoft technologies.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and web services to enable seamless system integrations.
• Collaborate with product managers business analysts UI/UX designers QA engineers and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable secure and maintainable technical solutions.
• Write clean reusable well-documented and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot debug and resolve application defects performance bottlenecks and production issues.
• Optimize application performance scalability reliability and security.
• Design and manage SQL Server databases including writing optimized queries stored procedures views and functions.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and promote knowledge sharing across the engineering team.
• Implement automated testing and support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Support application deployments releases upgrades and post-deployment monitoring.
• Integrate third-party APIs and enterprise systems where required.
• Maintain technical documentation including system architecture APIs deployment procedures and development standards.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance software quality and development efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with security governance and software development best practices.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Experience
• Minimum of 4 years experience in software development using the technology stack.
• Proven experience developing and supporting enterprise or business-critical applications.
• Technical Skills
• Strong proficiency in C# MVC Core /.NET Core.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server database design and query optimization.
• Experience with Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core.
• Proficiency in HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks such as Angular React or is an advantage.
• Experience with Git and version control best practices.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps GitHub Actions Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud services is an added advantage.
• Experience with Docker Kubernetes or containerized application deployment is desirable.
• Understanding of software architecture patterns object-oriented programming SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization frameworks such as OAuth2 JWT and Identity Framework.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
