Job Summary

Responsible for leading a team of facilities staff overseeing daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of all facilities. Implement and maintain safety protocols conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulation. May be involved in smaller projects renovations or relocations ensuring timely and within-budget completion. To direct preventative repairs and maintenance procedures and ensure buildings and equipment are well maintained and in optimal working condition. Responsible for day-to-day operational activities in the assigned region. To ensure that all operations are in accordance with established health safety and environmental standards and regulations and that services purchased are of acceptable quality at the least possible cost. Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained by the facilities team addressing and resolving issues effectively. 

  • Liaises with service providers on all premises maintenance issues and also ensuring the use of good quality materials good finishing with prompt attention.

  • Monitoring of all maintenance activities to ensure that they adhere to the service level.

  • Agreement and ensures the inspection of workmanship and materials as defined in the manuals.

  • Ensures that all buildings grounds and equipment are well maintained and in optimal working Condition.

  • Ensures that services purchased are of acceptable quality in compliance with procurement policy.

  • Liaising with the BSM and Asset Custodian in scheduling of time for the supervision and planned preventive maintenance activity.

  • Responsible for resource management for branches within the regions.

  • To ensure that bank operations are in compliance with established procedures policies regulations and codes as it affect property maintenance.


Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Estate/Facilities Management Civil/Mechanical Engineering or other relevant disciplines.
  • Additional qualifications like relevant Masters degree and professional certifications can be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years demonstrable experience in Facilities Management or Customer Service Management.
