Junior Accountant
Job Summary
- Maintain accurate financial records record daily transactions and ensure all journal entries are properly documented and authorized using QuickBooks.
- Process vendor invoices manage payment schedules track customer billings and follow up on outstanding receivables to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Perform daily and monthly bank credit card and vendor reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare routine financial schedules budget variance reports and management statements utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel tools (e.g. pivot tables and financial formulasetc.).
- Assist the senior finance team with month-end and year-end closing activities including accruals prepayments and asset depreciation schedules.
- Organize financial documentation receipts and supporting schedules to facilitate internal reviews tax filings (VATPAYE and WHT).
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems for all financial transactions in compliance with corporate governance policies and local financial regulations.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Economics or a related field. Professional accounting certifications (or in-progress status with ICAN ACCA etc.) are a distinct advantage.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience in accounting bookkeeping or corporate finance roles (internship experience included).
- Demonstrated hands-on experience using QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) for ledger management invoicing and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including the ability to handle large datasets utilize formulas build pivot tables and format financial spreadsheets cleanly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.

- High level of integrity and confidentiality regarding sensitive corporate financial data.

Required Skills:
Strong background and work experience in Fleet Management and Maintenance. OND HND or Bsc in any related discipline. Excellent computer skills and proficient in MS Office Suite. Required Education:
