Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Systems Infrastructure & Support:
- Configure maintain and troubleshoot office hardware network switches routers firewalls printers and workstation setups.
- Serve as primary technical support for internal staff resolving software connectivity hardware and system access issues quickly.
GDS & Software Maintenance:
- Manage software installations API integrations booking engine connections and terminal configurations for GDS systems (Amadeus Sabre etc.) and internal travel management ERPs.
- Coordinate with third-party IT vendors internet service providers (ISPs) and software providers to ensure optimal uptime.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection:
- Enforce cybersecurity protocols user permissions multi-factor authentication and antivirus protection across all systems.
- Safeguard payment gateway data and sensitive client travel records in accordance with data protection regulations.
Data Management & Backups:
- Conduct routine system backups (local and cloud-based) and disaster recovery tests to protect company operational data.
- Maintain hardware/software inventory lists and evaluate equipment upgrade requirements as the agency grows.
- A minimum of an HND in computer science information technology computer engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 24 years of hands-on experience in network administration hardware troubleshooting and system support. Experience supporting GDS setups or travel software is a plus.
- CompTIA A Network Security Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) are an advantage.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting abilities knowledge of network protocols cloud management and software support.
Required Skills:
