iOS Engineer II

We are looking for

Cavista Technologies is seeking an experienced innovative iOS Engineer II passionate about building secure scalable user-centric mobile financial solutions. You will play a key role in designing developing and maintaining high-quality iOS applications that support digital banking payments and other financial services. Working closely with Product Design Backend Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders you will support the technical direction of our mobile platform while ensuring reliability performance and security.
 

What will you do

• Design develop and maintain secure scalable and high-performance iOS applications that support digital financial products including payments banking lending savings and investment solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers designers backend engineers and compliance teams to deliver seamless and customer-centric mobile experiences.
• Build and enhance mobile applications using Swift and modern iOS frameworks ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Develop intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that simplify complex financial processes and improve customer engagement.
• Integrate iOS applications with RESTful APIs payment gateways financial services platforms and third-party solutions.
• Implement robust security controls including authentication authorization encryption and secure data storage to protect customer information and financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements industry standards and organizational security policies related to financial services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects production incidents and performance issues while minimizing customer impact.
• Develop and maintain unit tests integration tests and automated testing frameworks to ensure application quality and stability.
• Contribute to mobile architecture decisions technical design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay informed on emerging iOS technologies FinTech trends security practices and Apple platform updates to drive innovation.

Qualifications :

What you bring...

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5 years of FinTech Experience 
• Strong proficiency in Swift iOS SDK and native iOS development.
• Experience with mobile application architecture and design patterns (MVVM Clean Architecture).
• Knowledge of FinTech products payment systems and digital wallet integrations.
• Expertise in secure coding authentication and mobile security best practices.
• Strong skills in API integration and backend service connectivity.
• Ability to optimize application performance scalability and reliability.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies CI/CD pipelines App Store releases and regulatory compliance requirements.

REGULATORY CONSIDERATIONS

• Implements mobile-application controls aligned with PCI-DSS mobile-payment requirements.
• Ensures app data handling and permissions comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.
