Job Summary

Our client is a leading Nigerian conglomerate with diversified operations spanning Fire-Fighting Equipment Power Generation (Diesel Gas and Solar/Hybrid Generators) Construction Shipping Services Air Cooling Systems Warehousing Facility Management Boat Building and Export of Agricultural Commodities.

LOCATION: Lagos

Job Summary: The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the Company

Job Responsibilities
  • Align people strategies culture and executive policies directly with overarching business goals.
  • Direct workforce planning recruitment and employer branding to attract and retain top-tier talent.

  • Lead performance management succession planning and change management during organizational growth.

  • Design implement and evaluate continuous learning programs to boost workforce skills and productivity.

  • Manage competitive compensation and benefits frameworks in coordination with financial budgets.

  • Drive employee engagement open communication and resolution of workplace grievances and conflicts.

  • Oversee HR operations HRIS data legal compliance and executive metric reporting.


    Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management Business Administration Psychology or related field (Masters degree or MBA is an advantage).
  • Minimum of 8 years progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
  • Professional certifications (e.g. CIPM SHRM HRCI) required.
  • Proven track record in strategic HR leadership change management and organizational development.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.




Required Skills:

Minimum of 57 years of experience in a technical operations or strategy role within the oil and gas industry. Experience working closely with senior executives preparing reports and supporting decision-making of the company


Required Education:

Bachelors degree in Engineering Petroleum Engineering Business Administration Economics or a related field. MBA or Masters degree in a relevant field is a plus.
