Job Summary
VACANCY: HOUSE PARENT
A reputable British-curriculum private school in Ikeja GRA is seeking a committed mature and responsible male House Parent to provide pastoral care and residential supervision for students.
Key Responsibilities
Provide pastoral care and supervision for students in the house
Foster a safe disciplined and nurturing residential environment
Serve as a primary point of contact for students welfare behaviour and daily needs
Liaise with academic staff parents and school management on student wellbeing
Organise and supervise house activities study periods and evening routines
Maintain accurate records of students conduct health concerns and incidents
Enforce school rules and uphold the schools values and code of conduct
Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification
Prior experience working with children or young people in a school residential or welfare setting is essential
Strong interpersonal communication and conflict-resolution skills
High level of emotional maturity integrity and patience
Willingness to reside on campus is required
