Financial Analyst

BFI Insights is currently seeking a high-performing Financial Analyst to join its growing team. The role is suited to an analytical financially minded professional with hands-on experience or strong practical capabilities in financial modelling financial analysis project finance research and advisory work.

As a Financial Analyst you will support consulting and training engagements develop financial and analytical models conduct research and translate complex financial and market information into insights that support business and investment decisions.

Key Repsonsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models to support business investment and project-related analysis.
• Conduct financial analysis forecasting valuation and scenario analysis.
• Support project finance and investment-related analysis including project assumptions cash flows and returns.
• Conduct industry market and company research to support client engagements.
• Analyse financial and operational data and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Prepare financial reports presentations investment materials and analytical reports.
• Support consulting teams in delivering financial advisory and training engagements.
• Assist in developing financial case studies analytical tools and training materials.
• Work collaboratively with senior team members and contribute to project deliverables.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge across finance modelling project finance and advisory.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years' relevant professional experience in financial analysis investment analysis corporate finance consulting project finance or a related field.
• Professional qualifications or progress towards qualifications such as CFA ACCA ICAN or related certifications.
• Demonstrable experience building or working with financial models in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of financial statements financial analysis financial advisory transaction advisory corporate finance or management consulting.
• Working knowledge of financial modelling forecasting valuation techniques project finance or investment modelling.
• Strong numerical analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with financial information accurately.
• Experience analysing investment opportunities or business cases.
