We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Science Trainer to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This is an urgent requirement for a professional who is passionate about data science and enjoys imparting knowledge to learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and practical training sessions in Data Science and related fields.
- Develop and update training materials lesson plans and assessments.
- Provide mentorship and support to learners throughout their learning journey.
- Evaluate learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay up to date with industry trends tools and best practices in Data Science.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure training objectives are met.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or HND in Computer Science Data Science Statistics Mathematics Information Technology or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications in Data Science Machine Learning Artificial Intelligence Data Analytics or related disciplines will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience delivering training in Data Science.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis data visualization and machine learning concepts.
- Excellent presentation communication and facilitation skills.
- Experience using industry-standard tools such as Python Jupyter Notebook Pandas NumPy Scikit-learn Power BI Tableau or similar tools.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on industry experience in Data Science.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for learners with varying levels of experience.
- Experience in curriculum development and learner assessment.
