Job Summary

To undertake all payment functions associated with recording reconciliation and payment of both internal and external customers.

  • Review and processes all transactions for payments for services or goods procured on behalf of Stanbic IBTC group in accordance with the groups policies and guidelines.
  • Process all local payments ensuring vendors are paid timeously correct amounts are paid and accounts are accurately allocated with proper authority obtained.
  • Process all foreign payments (through IBC) for items ensuring vendors are paid timeously correct amounts are paid and accounts are accurately allocated and proper authority obtained.
  • Review and reconcile the prepayment accounts while ensuring accurate amortization and that there are no un-amortised amounts.
  • Ensure smooth run of month end activities support Business units manage/monitor team in all month-end processes to ensure deadlines are met and there are no disruptions to day to day and month end activities.
  • No disruptions to day to day and month end activities (Internal and External Stakeholder feedback)

Qualifications :

  • BSc Finance and Accounting
  • ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria); ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) or MBA can be an added advantage

Experience:

  • 1-2years experience in Accounting field; Computer literate; Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office; Knowledge of Accounting Software package
