Weighbridge Operator

Our client is a well established business within the recycling and resource recovery industry playing an important role in helping create a cleaner more sustainable future. They are currently seeking a reliable and organised Weighbridge Operator / Site Administrator to join their afternoon/night shift team in Onehunga.

This is a key position within the operation acting as the first point of contact for drivers entering and exiting the site. If you enjoy administration have strong attention to detailand are confident working independently we would love to hear from you.

About the Role
As the Weighbridge Operator you will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles entering and exiting the site are processed accurately efficiently and in line with company procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting drivers and contractors as they arrive on site
• Checking and recording driver vehicle and load information
• Operating the weighbridge system to accurately weigh trucks on arrival and departure
• Completing data entry and general administrative duties
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Ensuring all site compliance and health & safety procedures are followed
• Working closely with the operations team to keep site traffic flowing efficiently
• Providing professional customer service to drivers and visitors

We are seeking someone who is dependable trustworthy and takes pride in delivering accurate work.

Ideally you will have:

• Previous administration orweighbridge experience
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to work independently
• Reliable transport to and from work

Sunday to Thursday
6:00pm 2:30am

• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test & breath test
• Undergoa criminal history check
• Have the legal right to work in New Zealand
