Join a great team in a part-time role as a Small Animal Vet at Upper Hutt Vets.
Upper Hutt Vets are a gold standard clinic situated in a lovely part of the Hutt Valley. This role offers a great blend of consults & surgery as well as a fantastic work life balance
About the clinic and role
- Part time roster with a rotation of 2-4 shifts per week - average of 25.8 hours per week 1:3 Saturdays
- Be supported working along-side highly experienced Vets and a wonderful strong nursing team
- Well equipped and recently refurbished clinic complete with digital and dental x-rays and a dedicated surgical theatre
- Multi-Vet Team youll join 4 other vets with a range of special interests
- Fear free focused clinic and our lead vet is Fear Free Elite accredited
- Experienced nurses Our nurses perform nurse consultations supporting vets in several different ways to improve patient care
- A part of local community as the first Vet clinic in Upper Hutt established in 1982

About you
- BVSc qualified (or equivalent) and registered or eligible to register to practice in New Zealand
- Ideally 5 years experience comfortable with some sole charge and routine surgery
- Applicants must hold NZ work rights visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
