Technicians Sample Reception Fixed Term 12 months

We are currently recruiting for 2 full-time fixed term (12 months) Technicians for our Sample Reception department. AsureQuality is the largest Food Testing Laboratory in Australasia based in Lynfield Auckland. Our laboratory is open 7 days a week with rosters between 6am and 8:30pm. The roster for these positions is Monday to Friday 12pm-8.30pm

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Unpacking samples checking sample integrity on arrival.
• Registration of samples into the Laboratory system.. 
• Maintaining temperature records and keeping training records up to date.
• Assisting Customer Service and the Laboratory Technical teams with any queries.
• Splitting/subsampling samples by applying aseptic techniques for subsampling processes. 

Key Requirements:

• Flexibility to work overtime at short notice is ideal.
• Experience in a food laboratory retail hospitality or production/warehouse environment would be an advantage.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to consistently producing high-quality work.
• Ability to thrive in a highly regulated and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills to meet targets and deadlines.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication abilities.
• A proactive approach to workplace safety.
