Job Summary

What youll be doing

This isnt a role where youll spend your day behind a desk. Youll be out on the production floor supporting your team and helping keep our plant operating at its best.

Youll:

  • Lead and develop a team of 14-16 production staff.
  • Manage staffing workflow and daily production priorities.
  • Coach and develop team members while creating a positive team culture.
  • Make practical decisions to keep production running safely and efficiently.
  • Work with the engineer and external parties to troubleshoot production issues and minimise downtime
  • Drive continuous improvement across safety quality and productivity.

Qualifications :

About You

Were far more interested in your technical capability than years of supervision experience.

You might currently be working as a:

  • Maintenance Engineer
  • Mechanical Fitter
  • Fitter & Turner
  • Production Engineer
  • Senior Machine Operator
  • Leading Hand
  • Manufacturing Technician

and be ready to take the next step into leadership.

Youll ideally bring:

  • Hands-on manufacturing experience with confidence working around machinery and identifying and resolving equipment issues.
  • The confidence to make practical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • A practical hands-on approach to solving day-to-day challenges.
  • The ability to lead by example and build positive working relationships with your team.
  • Clear communication skills and a willingness to support and develop others.
