We are looking for a Team Leader Compliance to join our Regulatory Services Team. This is a unique leadership opportunity for a compliance professional who enjoys working across a diverse regulatory portfolio including Environmental Health Resource Management Act (RMA) Compliance and Building Compliance. Youll be part of the Regulatory Leadership Team and oversee a dedicated team manage key regulatory contracts support enforcement and monitoring functions and help ensure our communities remain safe healthy and compliant.

What Will You Do Ka aha koe
Key responsibilities will include:

• Lead mentor and support compliance staff to achieve team objectives
• Foster a positive collaborative and high-performing team culture
• Assist with compliance schedule management provide advice and undertaking enforcement activities
• Maintain accurate records and an active compliance monitoring schedule

Who Are You Ko wai koe
We are looking for someone with:

Essential:

• Sound knowledge of relevant legislation regulations standards and compliance processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management capabilities
• Ability to influence outcomes while maintaining positive relationships

Desirable:

• Experience working within a local government compliance environment
• Experience interpreting legislation and applying regulatory requirements
