The role Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
Were looking for an inspirational and motivated leader to takeup the exciting opportunity as full-time Team Coach (TC) located in RosedaleAuckland.
Youll be reporting to the Service and Relationship Manager andleading a team of Support Workers/ Peer Support Workers. Togetheryou will support tāngata whai ora on their recovery and wellness journeyby helping them develop effective coping strategies build life skills engagewith their communities and achieve their self-identified goals.
As the TC youll play a vital role in shaping the future of our responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the care of tāngata whai ora on the Waitematā mobile caseload to ensure they receive exceptional support in the community.
- Support the efficient and effective use of resources for the teams while fostering innovation and improvement of service which includes financial management of the service.
- Lead and support kaimahi including regular individual coaching sessions recruitment professional development and performance management.
- You will support the team to exceed their personal best in everything they do.
- Develop and grow our services to meet emerging community needs.
- Grow strong and collaborative inter sector networks and partnerships.
This is a permanent full-time position. You will be workingMonday Friday 8:30am 5pm. Based in Rosedale. You will also contribute to anon-call roster.
About You Mōu:
We are looking for a registered Clinician with some clinicaland leadership experience who has an understanding of te ao Māori and thewellbeing of tāngata whai ora andtheir whānau. You willbring a strong sense of purpose to your mahi valuing whanaungatanga andleading with this role you will nurture a safe inclusiveenvironment role model positive wellbeing and empower kaimahi to grow andthrive as they support others on their journey.
Skills and Experience Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako
Essential:
- HPCA regulated health practitioner registered with a current APC (Registered Nurse Social worker OT DAPANZ)
- Knowledge of and demonstrable commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Full clean drivers license
- Ability to develop collaborative partnerships across the sector.
Desired:
- Cultural awareness and a commitment to supporting Māori and Pasifika whānau.
- A relevant qualification in leadership management or a clinical qualification.
- Relevant experience in leadership and managing others.
- Forensic and AoD experience.
