About the role:

St Cuthberts College is seeking a passionate and specialist Visual Arts Teacher to join our renowned dynamic and well-resourced Visual Arts Faculty.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach Visual Arts across Years 713 and will be passionate about inspiring students to engage with and develop their skills in the Visual Arts. Familiarity with the IB programme and the ability to teach Design and/or Painting at NCEA Level 2 and 3 would be an advantage but is not essential.

To be successful in this role you need to:

  • Epitomise St Cuthberts By Love Serve in all you do;
  • Be passionate about teaching Visual Arts across Years 713 with the ability to challenge and inspire students at all levels;
  • Have a sound knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA requirements;
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Be highly organised self-motivated and able to work collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Demonstrate initiative and the ability to manage competing priorities;
  • Have New Zealand working rights;
  • Hold a current New Zealand Teaching Registration and Practising Certificate.
