Specifications Manager Roofing

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Specifications Manager - Roofing to help grow Sikas presence in the New Zealand roofing market.

• Identify and develop new roofing specification opportunities across New Zealand.
• Build strong relationships with architects consultants engineers developers and key decision makers.
• Promote and secure specifications for Sika roofing systems on major projects.
• Engage early in project design phases to maximise specification opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with sales teams to convert specifications into profitable sales.
• Maintain and grow a robust project pipeline through Salesforce.
• Provide technical advice and product information to specifiers and influencers.
• Monitor market trends competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
• Represent Sika at industry events conferences and trade exhibitions.
• Support the ongoing development of roofing solutions by identifying market needs and customer requirements.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in specification sales business development or technical sales within the construction industry preferably in roofing.
• Knowledge of roofing waterproofing building envelope or related construction systems.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
• Experience working with architects consultants engineers contractors or project stakeholders.
• Commercially focused mindset with a track record of influencing project outcomes.
• Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience with CRM systems preferably Salesforce.
• Current valid New Zealand drivers licence.
• Flexibility to travel throughout New Zealand as required
