Theyre looking for an experiencedSite Managerto join their Invercargill team and take responsibility for the successful delivery of construction projects throughout Southland.

This is an opportunity for an experienced construction professional who enjoys being hands-on understands how to run a busy site and has the confidence to coordinate trades subcontractors and suppliers while keeping a project moving.

• Take ownership of day-to-day site management and project delivery

• Manage commercial industrial and agricultural construction projects

• Coordinate subcontractors trades suppliers and site activities

• Manage construction programmes sequencing and daily priorities

• Ensure work is completed safely efficiently on programme and to specification

• Read and interpret architectural drawings engineering plans and project specifications

• Coordinate materials deliveries inspections and site logistics

• Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are maintained

• Identify and resolve construction issues and coordinate practical solutions

• Maintain clear communication with Project Managers clients consultants subcontractors and suppliers

• Maintain accurate site records documentation and health and safety requirements

• Lead the site team and create a professional productive working environment

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial industrial or agricultural construction is essential

• Strong track record managing projects from commencement through to completion

• Confident coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors

• Strong understanding of commercial construction methodology and sequencing

• Able to interpret plans specifications and technical documentation

• Organised proactive and capable of managing competing priorities

• Strong problem-solving ability and the confidence to make decisions on site

• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills

• High standards of workmanship quality and health and safety

• Comfortable working in a practical team-focused construction environment

• Relevant construction qualifications are advantageous

• A full NZ drivers licence is required

• Full-time permanent position based inInvercargill
