Site Manager

Job Summary
As we continue to build on our success in New Zealand we currently seek a Site Manager to join our Christchurch team. The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Organise sequencing of on-site activities including the co-ordination of materials equipment personnel and materials handling plant.
- In consultation with the Project Manager and Senior Site Manager allocate necessary site staff and resources and confirm that all the resources for the project will be available when required.
- Review the construction programme with the Senior Site Manager re-sequencing activities as necessary to achieve the programmed completion date.
- Ensure that the Companys policies and practices on safety industrial relations and quality assurance are implemented and monitored.
- Ensure quality and compliance with standards and contract documents.
Qualifications :
The incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience:
- Degree/Diploma in building/construction or other recognised tertiary or trade qualification in a construction related field.
- Demonstrated experience supervising trades on large building projects.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a high pressure environment.
- Ability to communicate influence and build effective relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative sound reasoning listening and decision making skills.
