SUPPLY CHAIN

Rocket Labs Supply Chain team is responsible for the flow of all materials products and componentsthroughthe business. With many of our own products functioning as critical components to our own and our customers missions the Supply Chain team has a direct impact on the success of our rocket and satellite programs. They set upthe assemblykits thatenablesour technicians to put together our Electron rockets manage inventory look after shipping and receiving manage direct and indirect procurement and inspect and ensure that all of our materials and products are compliant and up to standard. They are the chain that links our teamstogether andare critical to our success.

SENIORPRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Basedonsiteat Rocket LabsAuckland NZ facility theSeniorProduction Coordinatoris a hands-on role that keeps production fed with materials andfollows upfor updated status on open work orders expedites deliveries where needed and helpsresolve any blockers preventing on-time delivery. TheSeniorProduction Coordinator is akey resourcewithin the planning function supporting production planners to ensure the timely delivery ofmaterials from within our global production asuccessfulSenior ProductionCoordinatoryouwill have the opportunity to level up intoproduction planning roleswhen opportunities arise.

WHAT YOULL GET TO DO:

  • On-time executionofissuingshopflooritemstoproduction work orders.
  • Performregular runs through assigned departments to execute shopfloormaterialmovementsand kanban circuits.
  • Ensurelineside inventory accuracy cycle countsand tidiness in assigned department(s).
  • Monitororder lines frominventoryandescalatewhenat risk of late delivery.
  • Monitorperishable lineside items andconsumables escalating when at risk of blocking production.
  • Problem solving and clearing materialblockersthatpreventproduction from completing orders.
  • Supportprioritization and expediting subassemblies forthevehicleintegration timeline including chasing the last mile through receipt QC and inventory for urgent items..
  • Work in a cross-functional team environment as a strong team player and demonstrate ability to work with other functional groups to achieve company-wide goals.
  • Support other supply chain departments and teamswhenrequired.
  • Any other dutiesassignedby your manager relevant to your role.

YOULL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school qualificationand4 years ofrelevantproduction experience in a high-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient using Microsoft products (Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint).
  • Working experience with ERP systems.
  • Proven ability to clearly communicate manage work tasks and provide status updates.
  • Team oriented strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and to multiple deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently.
  • Must be able to driveor learnto driveaforkliftand anyother equipment as required.

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:

  • Certificate or Diplomainrelevant manufacturingbusinessor supply chainfield.

This position may require prolonged periods of sitting standing walking computer work and occasional exposure to moderate levels of noise dust and fumes in production areas.
