Were looking for a Senior ABAP Developer - SAP to join KiwiRails ERP and Asset Services team in Wellington.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SAP developer to contribute to KiwiRails digital transformation by designing developing and supporting enterprise SAP solutions across a complex operational environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and enhancing SAP ABAP solutions across KiwiRails ERP landscape
• Building and supporting integrations interfaces workflows and custom developments
• Working across SAP modules including FI-CO MM PM PP Projects SD HR CATS and RE-FX
• Supporting SAP security authorisations transports and user onboarding
• Translating business requirements into practical technical solutions
• Participating in testing releases deployments and continuous improvement initiatives
• Providing expert technical support and resolving complex application issues

Ngā pukenga e rapu nei mātou What you will bring:

• 10 years experience developing and supporting SAP ABAP solutions in enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in ABAP Objects IDocs BAPIs Enhancements SmartForms SAPScript BW Extractors and Workflows
• Experience supporting SAP ECC6 across multiple functional modules
• Knowledge of SAP security authorisations and transport management
• Strong analytical problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology Business Finance Economics or a related discipline
