- Shifts Monday to Sunday Morning Afternoon and Nights

About theRole
Dealing withacute orthopaedic injuries orthopaedic trauma and other orthopaedicsdiagnoses Ward A4 offers an exciting and challenging multidisciplinary (MDT)environment and will provide you with an excellent opportunity to extend yoursurgical nursing knowledge and cohesive MDT team includes aNurse Educator and Clinical Nurse Specialist to help support and develop ourvalued nursing staff to ensure you obtain all the opportunities orthopaedicnursing has to offer.
About theService
Ward A4 isan Acute Orthopaedic and Spinal ward with an eye for excellence in nursingcare. It has one of two acute orthopaedic wards based at Christchurch Hospitalit has 32 beds and includes a dedicated 8 bed Progressive Care Unit.
Ward A4 isalso a Dedicated Education Unit where youll enjoy being involved in thedevelopment of student nurses.
About You
Enthusiasticand self-motivated you will have excellent communication skills and a passionfor orthopaedic us and you will have the opportunity to beworking as part of a team of experienced health professionals who worktogether to provide a consistently high standard of care for ourpatients.
- Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
- Solution focused adaptable self-motivated with the ability to think on your feet
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- Excellent team player with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
