About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost management and financial control for a variety of fit-out projects. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment liaising with key stakeholders and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimating and cost planning for interior fit-out projects from conception to completion.
- Managing contract negotiations procurement and supplier agreements to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Conducting financial reporting forecasting and risk analysis to keep projects on track.
- Monitoring variations claims and progress payments ensuring all financial aspects align with project objectives.
- Liaising with clients contractors and project managers to provide clear concise financial updates.
- Implementing value engineering strategies to optimise project budgets and improve cost efficiency.
- Preparing final accounts and cost reconciliations upon project completion.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor ideally within the interior fit-out or construction industry 5 years.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration procurement and cost management.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to anticipate challenges and mitigate risks.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills ensuring successful engagement with stakeholders.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
