The Role Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

The Project and Communications Coordinator role is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves bringing ideas to life keeping projects moving and connecting people through clear and engaging communication.

Youll take the lead and coordinate organisational projects and programmes while delivering strategic communications and engagement activities that support LinkPeoples objectives. Youll also work across the organisation and with a range of stakeholders including senior leaders operational teams funders government agencies community partners and the people we support. Together youll help deliver initiatives that strengthen housing outcomes and organisational performance.

This is a fixed-term full-time position through to September 2027 based at our Manukau office. Youll work 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30am5.00pm.

About You Mōu

Were looking for an organised proactive communicator who enjoys bringing people projects and ideas together.

To be successful in this role youll bring:

  • Experience in project coordination communications stakeholder engagement or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive solution-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and digital collaboration tools.
  • Knowledge of and demonstrable commitment to the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi and working with Māori.
  • Full New Zealand driver licence.
