Programming Lead – Te Pae o Tararua Ō2NL

Downers Infrastructure Delivery team is helping deliver the Ōtaki to North of Levin (Ō2NL) Highway Project. We are looking for a skilled Programming Lead to join the Ō2NL South Alliance and support the successful delivery of key stormwater drainage works on this significant infrastructure project.

About Ō2NL:

The Ōtaki to north of Levin (Ō2NL) highway will dramatically improve safety resilience and efficiency as well as increasing transport choices for the areas growing population. The Ō2NL project is led in partnership with NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi Muaūpoko Tribal Authority local hapū of Ngāti Raukawa ki te Tonga and council partner Horowhenua District Council.

This transformative project is being delivered using a two-alliance approach with each alliance delivering a section of the road and associated works. Together alliance partners are working to create a positive legacy for the region led by our project principles to tread lightly with the whenua and create an enduring legacy. We are seeking excellent people for this unique opportunity to work and collaborate with leading industry organisations.

Te kōwhiringa The Opportunity

As a Programming Lead you will ensure operations are efficiently programmed and communicated to the Construction Manager and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the projects baseline and target programmes
• Lead all programming activity with the project team including short-term programming
• Manage monthly progress reporting processes
• Manage all programming systems and software
• Liaise with programming stakeholders
• Highlight emerging risks to programme to the Construction Manager
• Provide leadership in Zero Harm initiatives and quality assurance.

Nga pūkenga matua Important Skills

• A tertiary qualification in engineering or a related field or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven experience in infrastructure project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of planning and programming software (e.g. Primavera P6).
• Excellent communication planning and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Leadership capabilities with a focus on safety sustainability and innovation.
