Production Team Leader Dayshift

Our client is a leading manufacturer of bagged concrete mortar concrete and waterproofing products. With over 30 years of industry experience they supply a wide range of innovative products to major hardware retail chains across New Zealand.

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Team Leader to join their Onehunga operation. This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role within a stable reputable manufacturing business that values safety quality and continuous improvement. A pre-employment drug test is required.

The Role:

• Supervise and support production staff
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are always followed
• Operate and monitor production machinery
• Coordinate daily production schedules and targets
• Conduct quality checks and maintain production records
• Lead shift meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience:

• Previous supervisory experience in manufacturing or production
• Strong people management and communication skills
• Mechanically minded with machine operating experience
• Forklift Licence and Full Drivers Licence required
• Previous experience with ERP systems and plant maintenance would be advantageous
• Physically fit and safety focused
