Pricing Analyst

About the Role
WM New Zealand is excited to offer a Pricing Analyst position to a bright individual eager to make an impact. Reporting directly to the Pricing Manager youll play a key role in supporting senior management with crucial pricing strategies and market analysis. Your insights will shape key business decisions and drive efficiency throughout the organization.

Youll be responsible for:

• Pricing Analysis & Reporting: Perform regular pricing reporting and data collection to keep key stakeholders informed and on track.
• Cost-saving Opportunities: Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements across the business.
• Market Data Insights: Collect compile and analyse pricing sales and market data to provide valuable insights that assist senior management.
• Pricing Strategy Management: Oversee pricing policies and methodologies ensuring they reflect best practices and align with departmental goals.
• Tender & Project Pricing: Assist in pricing tenders and projects ensuring competitive and sustainable pricing strategies.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you will have:

• 35 years of experience in a commercial or analytical role ideally with pricing experience.
• Strong analytical skills particularly in modelling and interpreting financial information.
• A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Accounting Finance or Statistics would be beneficial).
• Proficiency in Power Query and Excel Macros; knowledge of SQL would be highly regarded.
• IT skills using the Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with analytical data languages/packages (desirable).
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
