We are looking for a Port Support Officer to join our Corporate Services Team to provide essential administrative financial and operational support to the day-to-day functioning of the Westport Port.

What Will You Do Ka aha koe
Key responsibilities will include:

  • Support Maritime New Zealand compliance activities
  • Coordinate inspections and assist with audit preparation
  • Support health safety and environmental reporting requirements
  • Assist with operational planning and scheduling activities


Who Are You Ko wai koe
We are looking for someone with:

Essential:

  • Minimum 3-5 years administrative experience
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Strong customer service experience and stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable:

  • Experience within a port transport logistics infrastructure or maritime environment
  • Knowledge of maritime regulations and industry practices
