Job Summary

Integrated Foods Limited is seeking an experienced Operations Manager Farming to lead the day-to-day operations of our farming business.


This is a senior operational leadership role responsible for ensuring our sheep and beef farming operations deliver outstanding livestock performance strong financial results excellent animal welfare and a safe high-performing culture.


Reporting to the General Manager Livestock you will provide leadership across multiple farming operations working closely with Stock Managers farm teams and contractors to deliver seasonal plans while driving continuous improvement.

About the Role

As Operations Manager Farming you will lead and support our farm teams while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading day-to-day farming operations across multiple properties
  • Delivering livestock production and pasture management plans
  • Managing operational budgets expenditure and farm resources
  • Leading coaching and developing farm managers and staff
  • Monitoring livestock performance and production outcomes
  • Driving health and safety performance across all farming operations
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental plans NAIT and farming regulations
  • Working alongside contractors advisers and internal teams to achieve business objectives
  • Identifying opportunities to improve productivity efficiency and farm performance


About You

You are an experienced farming leader who combines practical livestock knowledge with strong people leadership and commercial awareness.

You will bring:

  • A minimum of 5 years leadership experience in sheep and beef farming
  • Proven experience leading successful farm teams
  • Strong livestock production and pasture management knowledge
  • Excellent planning organisational and decision-making skills
  • Strong financial and operational management capability
  • A proactive approach to health safety and environmental management
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build high-performing teams


It would also be advantageous if you have:

  • A relevant agricultural qualification
  • Experience managing multiple farming units
  • Experience using Farmax Figured NAIT or other farm management systems
