Job Summary
As a Kitchen Hand youll play an important role in supporting our chefs and wider Food & Beverage team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen clean and organised
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation
- Preparing and cleaning kitchen equipment
- Ensuring dishes utensils and equipment are available when needed
- Keeping kitchen areas floors and storage areas clean
- Assisting with deliveries and putting stock away
- Following food safety hygiene and health & safety standards
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy breakfast lunch and dinner services
- Completing other general kitchen duties as required
Qualifications :
Were looking for someone who:
- Is reliable punctual and has a great work ethic
- Can work well as part of a team
- Is comfortable working in a busy environment
- Has a positive can-do attitude
- Takes pride in cleanliness and presentation
- Is physically fit and comfortable being on their feet
- Has good attention to detail
- Is available to work a range hours with shifts rostered across 7 days a week including weekends and public holidays as required.
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential. Full training will be provided to the right person.
